Privacy notice

Last updated 7 October 2026

This notice explains what personal information Bunyadi Real Estate collects through this website, why, and what rights you have over it. We keep it short and specific to what the site actually does.

Who we are

Bunyadi Real Estate Limited, trading as Bunyadi Real Estate (“we”, “us”), is the controller of the personal information described here, which means we decide how it is used. We are a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17491571, with our registered office at 159 Burnt Oak Broadway, Edgware, HA8 5EH. You can contact us about anything in this notice:

What we collect and why

When you send an enquiry. The enquiry form asks for your name, phone number, an optional email address and your message, and records which property you asked about (if any). We use this only to reply to you and, if you go on to buy, sell, let or rent through us, to deal with that. Our legal basis is that you’ve asked us to take steps before possibly entering into an agreement with you, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about the properties we market.

When you browse the site. We count visits so we can see which pages and properties are useful. For each page viewed we record the page address, the type of device (mobile, tablet or desktop), the country your connection comes from, and the website that sent you here (or a campaign name in the link). To count unique visitors we combine your IP address and browser details with a value that changes every day and keep only the resulting scrambled code — never your IP address itself. The code can’t be turned back into your details and can’t be linked from one day to the next, so it can’t be used to identify you or follow you over time. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used, which we’ve kept as light as possible.

To keep the site secure. Like any website, our hosting providers briefly process technical information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse (for example, limiting how many enquiries can be sent in a short time). Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site working and secure.

If you go on to work with us — for example on a sale, a let or a guaranteed rent arrangement — we will need further information, including identity checks we’re legally required to carry out, and we will explain how we use it at that point.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies on visitors’ devices, and it doesn’t use advertising or third-party tracking tools. Our visitor counting described above works without cookies or anything else stored on your device. The only cookie the site uses is a sign-in cookie for our own staff when they log in to manage listings; it’s strictly necessary for that and is never set for visitors.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information, and we won’t send you marketing unless you’ve asked us to. We use a small number of service providers to run the website, who process information only on our instructions:

  • Render — hosts the website.
  • Neon — hosts the database where enquiries and visit counts are stored.
  • Cloudflare — delivers the website quickly and protects it from attacks.

Where it’s needed to deal with your enquiry, we may share relevant details with the seller, landlord or buyer involved, or with professionals working on the transaction. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where your information is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and anything that follows from it, and usually no longer than two years after we were last in contact, unless we need to keep them longer for legal reasons.
  • Visit counts: about 13 months, after which they are deleted automatically.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that’s wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our using it;
  • ask us to transfer information you gave us to you or someone else.

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We’ll respond within one month and won’t charge you in normal circumstances. Some rights have conditions — we’ll explain if one doesn’t apply.

Complaints

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this notice

We’ll update this notice if the way we use personal information changes, and change the date at the top. Please also read our terms of use.
